What are your source files?
Lots of people suffer this problem when using mpeg files and editing them.

Lots of threads here if you search out of sync and here's some more for you.

VS 11 plus HELP please out of sync

Did you edit your video in an MPEG video type? There¡¦s a possibility that you will encounter this A/V synchronization problem due to complexity of its compression. Based on your system specifications, your PC may handle real time compression properly so you might need to do alternative ways such as editing your video in an AVI type and adjust the video/audio sampling rate. Try turning of the SmartRender feature when you render your file. That has worked in previous versions.

Thanks Guys.......2 things though......where do i find the Smart renderer to turn it off??..............I did try expanding the sound track but I can only get it to change on a clip by clip basis.......is it possible to apply the time change to the whole project........and if so How?
Any help much appreciated as I am slowly but surely going mad over this.

Open File menu >> Preferences (or just press F6); checked ¡§Show message when inserting first video clip into the Timeline¡¨ and click OK. Once you created a new project and inserted your first video clip (in an AVI or MPEG type) in the Storyboard/Timeline view panel, a window will pop-up asking you whether the Smart Render will be performed or not.

You can also disable Smart Render before creating the video file from Share tab >> Create Video File >> your selected media type >> Options¡K >> Ulead Video Studio tab >> uncheck Perform SmartRender.

If you must render mpeg2 files always split audio to voice track before rendering.

Never gets out of sync for me when I do that.

That's interesting. Did you have out of sync problems if you didn't split the audio?

It happened to me once.
Since when I always split audio - never happened again (and I use VideoStudio 8).

Hi guys.....well I tried them all and only one worked.......splitting the audio track has worked....BUT...I had to take out the transitions....If I split the audio and left the transitions in, as i did first.......still out of sync....remove the transitions....about 7 of them and BINGO......in sync right to the last 56th minute. My sincere thankyou to all who replied to my plea for help.
