I have been fiddling around with the Project Properties and Preferences tab with Frame type Setting. Does not matter which setting I use for some reason when Creating a Video Output File or even Rendering Picture files seem to jerk when in Transition??
Is this because they are not a Video File and hence MPG or AVI? Or is there something that I am doing incorrectly or not aware of that needs to be tweaked?
The final Output Video File is what I would like to then transfer to DVD.
Also I note when I have tried to Create a Video Output file or even Render MSP8 comes up with "Error In Initialisation" pop up. Not sure what this means or refers to?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance!!

Are you talking about still images for a slideshow?
Right click the images on the MediaStudio timeline
Select Media Source Options.
Make sure you have Frame based selected and also flicker reduction checked.
You have to set this for each of your images but you can select all/several and do them as a job lot.
Or are you saying that your videos appear jerky in the preview window - that is normal - they will appear sharp when rendered to a new video file.
Generally speaking:
Digital source material = lower field first
Analogue source material = upper field first
Photographs and the like = frame based.
