Audio is distorted on VHS capture and burn

I am capturing the video through a DV camera. Sound is a little broken at times. When I burn it really gets distored. Not all the time. Just in parts. Any solutions?

I would try changing the DV Type from 1 to 2 or vice versa. Are there any dropped frames during the capture?

Just a lot of clicking and brief frame hesitation. I'll try the DV type change.
