VS 11 Menu Creating

Having stability problems when trying to build a menu. Page 114-116 of the VS11 Users Guide.
The procedure outlined doesn't always work although I have achieved a few good results, the outcome cannot be relied upon.

The main problems are loading and adding chapters in the 'Layout' page. It keeps reverting to an unselected template.

Failure to load selected template from the 'Template Gallery'

Failure to hold the settings in the 'Advanced Settings' page.

Anyone developed a tutorial on this or discovered any solutions?

There are several video tutorials on using VideoStudio, and I think there is one that addresses your issue(s).
