I am quite new to Ulead and video making and this is the first upload. This is my interpretation of the Michael Jackson Earthsong. I sincerely desire and welcome criticism, suggestions for improvement. Compliments - if deserved?? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Jwfb5WhO-eA

Very nice Slideshow Kevin..

I did however notice that about 3 mins the volume changed rather dramatically. However later it increased. I left my volume alone, thankfully, since it increased a short time later.

Next, since you're using copyright music, I think you should at least place some ending credits, giving credit where due..

Thanks again vidoman. The volume was reduced during the written message so one could concentrate on the message alone (unlike females, I find it difficult to multi-task). The volume increases at the close of the message to add impact to the following image. This is what I mean by constructive criticism. I thought the volume variation was complimentary but you obviously see it as a fault. I don't know how to cure that because I am sure that the music at full volume would have distracted from the text. Already you have provided me with possible improvement - perhaps a more gradual decrease/increase in volume???

Sorry, missed last point. Good idea about the credits - will do so in future. I feel so limited/constricted using only non copyrighted material.

Your idea of reducing the volume is quite good, and common for narrations. You might try adding a narration, reading the words while the viewer reads along. It might help make it clearer, why the volume is reduced during that time. Still it is a nice slideshow..
