selected clip wont show tick mark

Post by johnsweet »

Hi every day,
I have working for the project of my friend's wedding DVD
I am using Ulead video studio 11 plus

I have noticed one major function missing all ulead product is
when you split by the scene clips you will have lot of clips. (some of them you don¡¦t want some of them you need to drag to time line)
When you drag the clip it should show the "tick mark" like pinnacle
studio (don¡¦t think I am comparing pinnacle with Ulead video studio)
then we will come to know from spitted images which one you have already dragged from the library..... there is chance to repeat the same
video clip again... (if it show tick mark we can avoid replication of clips or scene)

I would like to pay attention to Ulead developers to add this function
in their new or upgraded versions.

Please comment.

Thanks
John

The only comment we can make John is - Yes - propably all the users on this forum would agree with you - it would be a very good addition - BUT - since no one from Ulead appears to take any notice of what goes on in this forum - and no employee in software development ever posts here - don't hold your breath while you wait for your suggestion to be implemented

I agree and disagree with Brian.
I once received a response (to one of my original posts) from a chap from Taiwan (I think) who appeared to either be an employee or past employee of Ulead.
There are lots of additions which Ulead could make to VS but I think that when you compare the latest versiuon with say VS6 you would see a lot of additions implemented over the years. Whether or not these are the result of posts to this forum or just ensuring the product remains competitive with similar products is another thing.
