merge cf/ multi-trim /merging them?

Post by brucefl »

Have to get the book out. I have a long clip in multi-trim. Before I start I click merge cf. then I go through the clip, pulling out sections that I want to keep. They appear in the timeline below (multi-trim window) When I am done, I click the done. I was assuming those clips would merge in the main edit vs10 screen?
But they appear as separate clips in the timeline.
Reasoning for the merge, I have 3 long clips in the original timeline I have to edit somethings out.

Am I doing something wrong?
Hopefully I explained what I want to do properly,
thanks Bruce

Please view:
From Camcorder to DVD with Video Studio - Editing Phase.

From the index select
Multi trim and also
Ad Zapper.

ad zapper?

Hi thanks,
I will read the attached link later.

Is ad zapper necessary? I do the multi-trim because there
are a few blackend spots, I want to get rid of.
