I have following problem with the conversion of an AVI film to a DVD film with MEDIA PRO 8:
The AVI film shows a dance. If the AVI film runs on the PC then the quality is good. However after the conversion to the DVD format the quality is unacceptable bad.
Not only that the whole film jiggles also the arms and legs treble (most dynamic parts). I have changed some parameter (e.g. unteres / oberes Halbbild) but without success.
By chance I discovered following behavior: If I mark the film (or parts of it) with the parameter ¡¥reverse run¡¦ and generate afterwards an AVI film and afterwards a DVD film then the quality of the part which runs backward is surprisingly good (the part which was not marked runs of course forward and the quality is still bad). My target is of course to get
an acceptable quality of the film running forward. Could somebody help me on this issue ¡V or could somebody explain the good quality which I got with the reverse run?
Is this part new evaluated in case yes does somebody know a software which performs a similar evaluation without generating a reverse run?

AVI conversion to DVD
You obviously do not have the correct field order in your project settings. This subject has been dealt with 100 times on this forum. I obviously cannot tell you which to use because you tell us nothing about your settings, codec etc.
