Hi Xare,

We have a made a video tutorial that uses DivX to create you tube videos.

Check out the following tutorials that I have authored.

http://takeoneflix.com/ulead-videostudi ... sing-divx/

http://takeoneflix.com/ulead-videostudi ... high-gear/

Hope this will answer your question.

There are many other free video tutorials on our site.

Best regards,

When this post was created the video tutorials mentioned were all free.
That has now changed and members are advised that they have to be purchased. I must point out that these links are only provided for the purpose of convenience to our members. The YouTube web site says:
We recommend the following settings:

- MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
- 320x240 resolution
- MP3 audio
- 30 frames per second
And this:
YouTube accepts video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in the .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, and .MPG file formats.
Your file size is determined by the bitrate (and the playing time). For a given bitrate, the MPEG-4 variations will give you better quality than than the less-compressed formats.

NOTE - AVI is not a single format, but rather a "container" format that can contain audio/video with any type of compression. The AVI file header tells the software what CODEC should be used to decode (de-compress) the video. (If you have a very short video, your 8GB file may be uncompressed AVI.)

Yes, nmehta

This tutorial is just what I needed to walk me through the process :D

File size is about what I expected from compiling this way, about 50 MB for my first project.

Thanks for the tutorial links !
