Issues with creatind a DVD (share) in VS11+

I have finished my project and now and trying to covert it to DVD. I select the Share tab and add my VSP files and select options. I then encounter two issues:

1) The preview functionality does not seem to work. I can select the chapter function, and there is no preview available so I cannot use the jog bar to select chapter points.

2) I don't need to have chapters, so I move on. When I select the remot control icon to preview the video before burning it to disk, it goes to the preview page, but when I press the play button, nothing happens. The status bar at the bottom of the share set-up window indicates that the system recognizes the VSP files because it indicates how mamy MB's and minutes they will take up on the DVD.

3) I then proceed on and burn the disk (recording format: DVD-Video). It converts and burns a disk, but my DVD player cannot read it.


Any thoughts as to what I am doing wrong?
