Audio Looping Problem <audio blip at the end before reloo

Post by beardedboss »

When using any audio track along with motion menus:-

What I am finding is that at the end of the audio clip whatever the length is when it finishes just before it reloops there is a small snatch of audio played approx 1 or 2 frames before the audio restarts.

This happens whether I choose to fade the audio in and out or both, in fact if I fade the audio out at the end of the audio clip it is worse, since it fades to silence then all of a sudden, I get a loud full volume burst of audio just before the starts again.

This happens with my own clips and even the included ones in MP4 format, I have tried wav format also the same result, I tried the final dvd in a few dvd players in case it was a specific model problem.

example in diagram form

Start > .......music........... <end <loud blip of audio> Start > .........music......... <end <<loud blip of audio>

Audio Looping Problem: audio blip at the end before re-loop

Post by asjr_4584 »

The motion menu video has a maximum duration of 30 seconds; hence the audio background menu will re-loop after the specified duration and the sound is more likely being interrupted. Try to set the duration of your audio background menu equal to the duration of your motion menu video. You can adjust your audio background menu duration by clicking the ¡§Set Audio Properties¡¨ at the Edit tab of ¡§Select a template to create menu (Step: 2/3)¡¨. From here, you can add fade in and fade out effects for your audio background, thus eliminating the obvious interruption on it.
