Hi again.
I'm using VS10 and XP. I have a C: drive with all my programs on and a D: drive on which I capture my video and save the projects. Due to a crash on my C: drive I've had to reinstall VS. Would someone please explain what I need to do to repopulate my library again.
Thank you.
Mike.

Are you talking about the Video or Image libraries? Next to the Gallery drop down list is the Load button. Click on that and navigate to where your clips are.

Thanks Jeff - AND....
Thanks Jeff. I was sure I tried that but obviously not because it worked. Could you tell me how I get the bonus music, sound effects and videos that I received with VS10 into the relevant libraries please.
Mike.

Folders?
Sorry Ken if I'm a bit slow, are the folders I need to drag them to in the VS10 program folder, or somewhere else please.

The folder I was thinking of primarily is the Samples sub-folder within your Video Studio 10 folder in c:\Program Files\Ulead Systems. In the Samples folder you will see various other sub-folders with self-explanatory titles.
But in reality, it doesn't matter where you put them. You can create a new folder and sub-folders for them and use them as a central repository with any other Ulead editing program. The point is that they are in fact only samples, not essential parts of the program. The program doesn't automatically see them when they are in the 'correct' folder above as far as I am aware, and you still have to right click on the Library pane and use Insert file to get thumbnails of them into the various library folders.

Thanks
Thanks heaps Ken.
I only know how to do it the hard way ( i dont know if this is really the hard way or the easy way).
From my windows explorer window, I highlight all the files I want to be in my library then drag-and-drop all those files to the library viewer.
You can manage your library through the "library manager."
