Hello, I just downloaded the trialversion of ulead dvd moviefactory 6.0. I always get this report when I try do burn a dvd with full menu but not when it is whitout menu.
The error starts when I am in step 3/3. The upper green line is in 99% and the lower is in 99% and says "finalizing VOB".
dvdmf.dat application error.

What kind of menu are you creating? Are you using one of the templates, or are you supplying your own background image/video/audio? It may be having problems converting one of your files.

No I am just using the templet.
As I said it works ok if I don´t create menu. If I go directly to burn the dvd, it works fine. But then there is no menu, wich is nice to have.
I am not putting anything extra in to the movie. I only capture, then ad suptitle (date and time), then I create menu, then I go to step 3 and burn the dvd. But then the problem starts at 99% of finalizing VOB.
I have been trying a lot of softwares to be able to burn my minidv to dvd, with the date and time displayd. And this software seem to be the only one.
So if you can help my figure this problem out I would be realy greatful. I have been trying for 1 year now, to get my minidv to dvd with date and time in the subtitle area.
Bottom line. I only want to be able to create a dvd 16:9 from my minidv, and have the date and time in the subtitle area. It´s only basic operations I whant to be able to do. It would be nice to have the menu also.
A have Sony dcr-hc90e (pal).
