Can't get Dolby Digital output when rendering in HD

I'm using VS11 to mix footage from my Sony HDR-SR7, which produces raw video in AVCHD and Dolby Digital. Once I've completed my project, and I go to do the final render, I can't find a codec that will let me create output like my source files... HD and Dolby Digital.

I've been able to produce
1. Stunning HD clips with mediocre PCM audio
2. Standard DVD quality clips with stunning Dolby Digital audio

but not both... even the HD-DVD profile doesn't encode DD.

Part of my problem is that the source is essentially "Blu-Ray" format, which VS11 (sort of) supports for input, but doesn't support for encoding. Is there any way to produce HD + DD files in VS11??
