Loss of Audio from 1 of 2 clips

Post by mikesilve »

Hi
I've created several DVDs all with two XVID AVIs with motion menu background and buttons. I sometimes hit a problem with one of the two clips losing Audio. The clips playback fine on Preview but the "burnt" VIDEO_TS (I'm using MF4 but have also tried MF3 with the same result)yields DVD with one of the clips missing Audio.

Format is same for both: 48000Hz, 2 channels, 0x55 MPEG Layer 3.

Successful 2 clip DVDs (same template) are fine with the same audio format and video compression. Any thoughts??

Thanks

Maybe you can try http://www.xvid.org to ask them if there will be any codec fix for this problem, or try their updated codec to see if it fixes.

Or you can use DivX from http://www.divx.com instead, for you can use DivX codec to replace XviD to read XviD videos, and Ulead is much more compatible with DivX.

Hope this helps.
