Menu Templates for VS10

Post by n3vpc »

Is there a way to create menus and save them as templates in VS10?

Someone refered me to the manual on page 122 to select the Menu Template Category except for one thing. There is no Menu Template Category choice available in VS10. Is there a way to do this?

I am not sure what you mean that you don't have a choice of template categories in VS10. I have just looked at my installation, and counted over 20 templates divided into categories of Smartscene, Text, Thumbnail and Classic...

Did you load the Extra Content file (if download version) or from CD2 if you have the boxed version?

You can make menu templates only with Ulead Photoshop and its proprietary .ufo format.

Many of the menu templates you have can be modified and saved as new templates - but if you want to create your own templates from scratch then you should read this tutorial :-

Hi Again Gentlemen,

Yes, that is the problem. I want to use the provided templates and after I have changed or modified them I want to save them and use again in the exact format that I have modified. My question is "How"?

Working from the lower left hand corner of the program for configurations and such there seems to be no-way to save the type of menu selected, and its lay-out; music, no-music, what have you.

Thanks for Your Responses,

Bill

Here you can see the "Favourites" templates is empty.

Hi!

Thanks so much for your concise and prompt reply to my problem.
I’m just this second inside the program and about to create a disk, again
needing that valuable template. I felt your instructions and illustrations so important that I printed them out for my notebook!

Thanks Again,

Bill
