i have a picture with a blue background and white text on it
how do change the white letters to black and the background to white
all i what to do is exchange white for black and blue for white
i know i can use the fuller bucket and all those tools
but all i what to do is replace all the white with all the blue
for me it would be easier to start with a new project and open a new screen and once it opens it gives you the options of single color , transparent or web background. Click on single color and above it you will see canvas, click on canvas and choose your color you want.
then click OK,
Now on the left click I believe it is the third tool down that looks like the letter T , once you've done this you look at the toolbar above and there you can choose your color , size, font, mode etc.

To change the white letters to black, select the letters first. You can easily select a letter using the Magic Wand tool (second tool from the top of the toolbox. If you don't see the magic wand, click the small triangle beside the button to view the submenu and click on the magic wand icon.). When you have selected all the letters, you can then fill them with black using the Bucket Fill Tool.
Now to change the color of the background, with the selection still active, go to Selection > Invert to select the blue background. Use the Bucket Fill Tool to fill it with white.
