Download full version. After install and reboot, the launcher fails on all executions/selections with a request to send error report to microsoft. In other words, the application does not work at all.
Windows XP home edition service pack 2. AMD Athlon 2700+ 2.16GHZ 512mb Ram 500GB Western Digital.
I have removed and reinstalled twice. I have add/remove repaired.
After the install, I removed all previous versions and deleted the directories. I repaired MF6 again after previous version removal.

I would, if you can, get a new fresh download, as the errors you describe may be from a poor download.
The only reason I post a reply is your system just about matches mine except I use Seagate drives.
I have had a few bad downloads from Ulead servers in the past (PhotoImpact 11) and only fixed such errors with a new clean download.

That didn't work, I downloaded again to new folder, removed and reinstalled still no go, I try to import VIDEO_TS folder DVD format, it fails after it identifies the chapters, I select the first chapter and it dies. I try this from the launcher or by starting DVD project app. The video files are good.
It even fails when I try to open an existing project.
Should I have left MF4 on my hard drive? 911
