Post by palof »

Good morning.
I'm interested in a program in wich i can create a certein visual effects in my movies!
I'm looking for that old movie effect, spots, marks, like those that we see in the cinema, or in the Grindhouse movie from Tarantino.
But i don't know if there is a program with wich i can create these effects.
Can someone tell me if there is one and wich?

Thank you

There is a filter in VS that is called Old Movie/Film. It has three presets and can be further customised using keyframes. It allows you to vary the scratches, dust, camera shake etc.

Aside from the old movie filter, you can also add other filters that matches the "old movie" theme given that you uncheck the "replace last filter."

For the benefit of others, could you please elaborate?

what i think he wants to say is that you could combine multiple filters just as long as you uncheck the "replace last filter" option

Yes I understand that. But what other filters do you use to create an old film look.
