Photo Explorer 8.0 slideshow

Post by hawkette64 »

Just created a slideshow and burned to a computer cd. The picture quality is excellent, first program I used with such quality results. However the pictures are not in the same order as when I created the slideshow. Any suggestions?

I think I figured it out. There are several pictures with the same photo number id. I combined several memory cards for the slideshow. The only way I can think of fixing this problem is to rename all the duplicates. Any other easier way?

If you import the pictures by using the Camera Wizard of PhotoExplorer, you can check an Renumber images to ensure every file name is unique option to solve this problem.

If you are using the Digital Camera Wizard of Windows XP to import the pictures, it will have an option to let Windows XP rename them by date automatically.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I had the pics on the computer from a Fuji camera and program. I will look at the options you mentioned. I'm not sure now that was the problem. I went thru and renamed the dup names and saved the slideshow again. Will try to burn another cd soon and see what happens. Thanks again.

The pics are in order now. Either a hiccup in the program....or operator error, no way! I love this program.
