From VS 5 Manual

Capturing still images
In addition to video, VideoStudio also allows you to capture still
images. Simply follow the procedure for DV video, but in step 4,
press the Capture image button on the Options panel instead
whenever you see a frame you want. For details, see page 39.

Hi
The image should have been saved in your working folder.
I cannot remember how to assign a working folder using VS 5.
Its been a long time since i used this version.

From the VS 5 Manual
Quote

Capturing still images:
1 Select a clip in your project.
2 Drag the Preview bar to a single frame
you want to capture.
3 Switch to an image folder in the Library.
The folder can be the default Image
folder, or the one created by yourself.
4 Click the Save current frame as a new
image file button on the Options panel.
The new image file is saved in the hard
disk and is represented as a thumbnail
under the image folder you assigned.

If you right click the thumbnail in the library and select properties, this should show the location of the image. ( at least thats how it works for vs 7/8.

Try pressing (G) the global button to access additional preferences, the project/working folder may be listed.

The manual can be downloaded from

ftp://ftp.ulead.com/pub/Manual/

Hope this helps

You can also right-click on any object in the Library, select Properties, and see the location of the object.
