Hi Everyone.
I'm new to VS and have version 10. I've gone through all the steps and when I reached the Share step I chose the Create Disk Option. I then went through the menu creation step. I then ticked the create disk image box, and the normalise audio box. I then redered and it created an ISO file on my hard drive. I then used Nero 7 to burn this image using the Data DVD option which burnt ok. When I put this into any DVD player I either get the "Disk Error" message, or the "No Disk" message.
Can anyone explain if I have done anything incorrectly and how I should be going about it.
I am greatful for any help.
My dvd won't play. I get disk error messages or no disk mess

Using Data DVD probably means that it did not copy the necessary lead-in and lead-out codes which tells a DVD player that it is a *video* DVD, not a data DVD...
Anyway, on the relatively rare occasions I burn .iso files to DVD, I use the command in Nero 7 'Burn Image to Disc' which is under the second last icon to the right -- the one with what looks like a box with two silver CDs above it (the Copy and Back-up page).
You might also want to ensure that you choose a relatively slow burn speed. For 12x blanks, for example, I use 4x. Try to avoid using the maximum rated speed.

Eureka
Thanks very much Ken.
I burnt it as you advised and put it into the dvd player and it loaded ok but a black screen. I mucked around for half an hour or more (not silently I might add), only to find my Grandson had unplugged the leads from the dvd player.
I think I've mucked up the menus a bit but it works ok.
Thanks very much it's greatly appreciated.
Mike.
