help ! how i add or captured dv date & time in videostudio 9

This is part of the meta data in digital video, rather than the video itself as in analogue video.
You can use one of several third part apps to achieve this, some are listed here

Do you want to
a) Display the time code on the completed DVD - if so this is turned on/off by the camcorders playback settings not the editing software.
OR
b) simply display the time code on the preview window.
This is set in File | Preferences | General Tab.
Display the DV timecode on Preview Window: Displays the timecode of a DV video on the Preview Window when it is being played back. Your display card must be VMR (Video Mixing Renderer) compatible for the DV timecode to be displayed properly.

By the way, ever time I see this subject I think of one of my favourite posts on this forum
