Help! Videostudio 10 won't start

Hi everyone,
I've gone through as many threads here as I can (at work) and can't find an answer.
I've installed V10 Plus, the Bonus exe and content pack and after installation, nothing happens when I click on the exe icon.
I do have ATI TV Wonder installed as well as Pinnacle. However I prefer VS10 the most.
I am not computer savvy so please dumb down explanations for me.
Any help is appreciated.

Win XP w/sp2 ver. 2002
HP Pavilion 2.0g of RAM
85GIG of free space

You have to create an exception to Data Execution Prevention. See the thread entitled "v.s. 10 will not open" in this section for instructions on how to do this. Another excellent explanation of how to make this very simple change can be found at http://www.updatexp.com/data-execution-prevention.html. You must restart the computer to effectuate the change, though. I had the same problem with the V.S.9 SE that came bundled with the ADS DVD Xpress DX2 capture device, and this fix worked for me. (At least now the program will launch -- I haven't tried to use it yet).

Well, for some reason the above link doesn't work. Just go to updatexp.com and select "Data Execution Prevention" from the list of popular articles going down the left side.
