Can't save at 640x480 or 320x240 resolution
I have Video Studio 11 running on Windows Vista. I've imported raw video at 640x480 resolution to edit. No matter what format I choose under Create Video File or Share Video Online -- WMV 640x480, WMV 320x240, etc. --, it puts out the same garbage: 208x160, 20 fps. The Share menu has all these lovely video format options, but it simply doesn't matter which one I select, it's the same smashed-down garbage every time (even as it *says* that it's merely going to override my selection of 30 fps and spit out 20 fps, for reasons unknown, it then also changes the frame size, with no warning or chance to override). It's as if there's some menu somewhere that has preselected only one possible output format, but I can't find that menu, if it exists, or figure how to override it. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks.

Welcome to the forums,
Have you tried selecting the WMV>Zune(640x480,30fps)? I did notice what you've posted. For some reason selecting some of the other options for WMV, it is over-ridden. However the Zune seems to work.
You need the Windows Media 9 Encoder, to get all the various options. However there seems to be a problem with the Encoder9 series and Vista (MS own product having a problem with it's encoder..

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, that WMV Zune is exactly what I'm picking -- the ones under Create Video File. I only tried selecting a different WMV choice under Share Video Online last night, and once again, it *said* it was creating something that at least resembled what I requested, and once again it was the wrong dimensions. But WMV Zune is the one that I've been having trouble with all along.
It sounds like this may be a problem of compatability between ULead and Vista, rather than something I'm doing wrong. Thanks for the link to Media Encoder; I tried to install it just now, but it wouldn't install. It said "This installation is not supported by this processor type."
