Error in

I've just installed VideoStudio 8, and want to capture video from my camcorder. This was all working in pinnacle studio before, but I want to test whether videostudio 8 is doing better. However, when I go to the capture tab, I get an error that tells me that the capture plugin/driver cannot be used because it is probably in use by another application. What's wrong? VideoStudio is the only application running at this moment...

i have Pinnacle 9 and VS8 on my system. i have no problems. however i have been informed that Pinnacle can knock out VS8 if on the same system.
