I spent nearly a month on the trial version of VideoStudio 8, and I finally purchased the full license. Today, I was trying to install the update patches (Daytime Saving patch, VS8 update patch, & GDI patch). But, somehow, I couldn't install them. The error message says that the VS8 is not installed on the machine and that I would have to install the program first.
Strangely, I don't have any problem opening the VS8 application. But it seems that the patches can't find my VS8.
I tried un-installing and re-installing the program, but it didn't help. I already e-mailed the Tech Support, but I have an urgent project this week, not to mention that the daylight saving starts next weekend. So, I am in a big rush to fix this problem.
Can anyone suggest what to do next? I'd appreciate any help...
