I am finishing a wedding DVD and would like to re-emphasize the copyright before the menu appears, much as commercial DVD's accomplish with forced previews and copyright warnings and other pre-menu labeling. I have put a lot of thought into how I would accomplish this using VideoStudio and I'm not coming up with any tricks. Is it possible to make these premenu items the first track, autoplay the first track, then return to menu? Also, I'd like to disable user input during this track, that's just a want, the fact that it's there would please me greatly.
Currently I'm using Videostudio 10 pro / OEM Nero, whichever suits my needs at the time. I've pretty much blown my budget on production time so purchasing new software is out of the question.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

add media
it's quick and simple - i do the same for my yearbooks.
Make sure you have your copyright disclaimer in mpg or vsp form ready to go in a separate file. If it's prerendered, it will save time, especially if you keep the same project settings throughout all your projects and use the same copyright disclaimer.
1. When you are ready to burn the video, click create disc and click the little icon to add new media - select your copyright file (copyright.mpg).
2. move the clip to the beginning of the timeline and check off the "use first clip as intro" box and you'll see the marker noted.
3. Click on the middle icon on the bottom 'project settings' when you hover over it. I select 'auto fade out first play to menu" to give the fade into the menu.
When you do this, the first clip (with the red #1 marker) will play before the menu shows and they cannot fast forward or otherwise interupt it. It will help if you put a good 3-5 seconds of blank space before the copyright disclaimer runs. This will help when people pop the DVD in first and turn the TV and sound on second.
Hopefully this helps!
