Importing Dual layer DVD Media

In Video Studio 11+ I am Trying to import DVD files from a DVD Dual layer disc but the import always stops at 61%
I have used the "File import" many times and it usually works fine.
However it does not seem to want to import DVD media from these dual layer discs,
The discs are Normal Dual layer discs that I have created myself and work fine when playing.
I also tried to import the media from these discs in "Sony Vegas" and it worked fine.
Does anyone know why VS11 will not import it ?
