Cutting clips short

Hello,

I am trying to make a demo disc using short clips from my DVD collection. I have extracted the clips but when I try to import them into MF4 its cuts most of them off short. It appears to be linked to whether or not they are extracted as a title and chapter or a title and multiple chapters. A single chapter "clip" seems to import just fine but the multiple chapters do not. The clipping does not even occur at the end of the first "chapter" in the clip. It seems to be a random point early in the over all clip.

Any idea how to get around this?

Clips were captured with DVDShrink and play just fine in player software. Machine is a dual Opteron 1gig ram WinXp Pro Sp2.

Otherwise the software and motion menus etc. seem to work just fine.

After further checking I see that the clipping of the clips is not a universal as described above. I do have a clip that is just the Title and one Chapter that does not import fully. Also, I was able to get one of the multi-chapter clips to fully import. Now I am really confused. There does not seem to be any real reason to this issue. All clips were produced with the same software in the same way. :/

Update #2:

After even further research I have discovered that if I keep trying to import the files they will eventually import correctly (5-20 times each). Once they get imported correctly I have not seen any issues with audio sync'ing or playback qaulity.
