I would lke to try UVS10 - Where can I download it?
I am a believer in 'walking before running' - I'm very familiar with VS9 and find it brilliant. I would now like to advance to 10, but would like to evaluate first. I just know someone out there will say "why? when version 11 is available". Answer - walk before run! I have been competently using Ulead Cool 3D, so I obtained the latest version and it completely lost me-I mean completely! So, in order to be immediately productive, returned to the original. I will persevere, but the learning curve is too lengthy to be productive now. Also, reading the numerous problems on this board, I am sure there are glitches with 11 that will eventually be ironed out, which perhaps have already been with V.10 ?? Anyway- the Ulead site does not appear to offer a V.10 trial, just V.11. Anyone know where I can download the V.10 trial?

VS10 Trial is no longer available.
Regarding problems - there will always be reports of problems no matter how many versions or service packs are released. This is true of all software - not just video editing software. The question to be answered is "Is the current version a useable one?" - in my opinion yes it is.
Any minor matters are easily resolved. I can fully recommend that you download the VS11+ trial version.

The only alternative would be to go and find a shop, on-line or real, which has the 'old' version 10 on sale. You'd probably find it on eBay for instance. But of course the down-side is that you would have to pay, even at a reduced price. And you have to be careful on places like eBay since there are some unscrupulous sellers who are making money by advertising SE version which are free give-aways with hardware packages.

Can't offer a free trial I'm afraid but Amazon.co.uk are offering a boxed version of 10+ for only twenty eight pounds
