UNSPECIFIED ERROR!!!

Hello Everybody,

I have a problem which doesn't seem to be solvable. When I try to burn a dvd everything seems to be all right but after a few minutes this message shows up saying "UNSPECIFIED ERROR" and the randering proces stops right away. I just have no clue what to do. I have reinstalled the program several times, tried to look for updates, nothing seems to work. I am not a computer experct. How can I solve this problem. So basicaly I can edit the video with no problem but I canot burn a DVD out of it.
Please somebody help me out. I have to get the program running this week. URGENT URGENT URGENT!!!!!!!!

I just put the word unspecified in the search box and specified the forum VideoStudio. It found 52 hits.

First of all, have you tried following the procedure shown here:

Your post suggests not, so read it carefully and follow it to the letter.
It sounds like you are editing your project and going straight into the "Share" burn DVD phase and this is not recommended.
You should finish editing then go to "Share" "Create video file." Once you have the DVD compliant MPEG2 video file THEN you start a new project so that there is nothing in the timeline and add the file you created to burn.
Have a read, try again and get back to the board.

Dear Sir,
tahnk you for your help.
Early this morning I tried what you suggested yesterday but it doesnt seem to work yet.
I get a "Unable to Load Library" (19151:3:3) error when processing my video. The same project worked on my old 7.0 version but not this 11.0 version. The processing fails when it hits an AVI file in the video. I have a mix of JPG images. There is not information on 11.0 to look through. What library am I missing? The video plays when putting the video together in the editor. I can edit the length and all but the system will not process it.
What do I do wrong???
I have to burn PAL format DVDs about 90 minutes of movie on them.
What should be my optimal setting?

First of all you need to right-click on the AVI file that is causing the problem and post the Properties here. There are many types of "AVI" file. Some are highly compressed and are for distribution only, not really for editing.
