It goes fine until it reached 100% and then sticks at 100%
My brothers does not havethis problem on his pc, his ejects he disk once it has completed the burn. I have to force VS to close down as the DVD drive continues to go mad even though the program says that it is 100% complete. Are you manually setting the Burn properties to match the your project video file properties as recommended in the top post?

It can indirectly cause problems.

UVS V8.0 had a memory-leak bug (it's fixed in V8.01), and if the video has to be re-rendered because the input and output properties don't match, you are more likely to run into this issue. Apply the patch, and keep an eye on the amount of free memory using Task Manager.

Schizz,
Video editing is all about controlling video properties. If you are not managing them, Video Studio defaults will be applied, which have nothing at all to do with your captured video. You will get garbage and you will be frustrated. The Recommended Procedure in the top post was written to head off problems with the many bugs and design flaws in Video Studio. Follow it letter if you want quality DVDs.
