Can I use two video cameras?

Post by msmuffin »

Hi there
I'm new here and would like to get some more information about MediaStudio before I purchase it.

What I would like to do is take a video of my band's performance using two video cameras at two different angles. I also want to record the sound on my digital mp3 recorder.

I then want to use software to combine the three, two video tracks, blending between them, and I need to be able to synchronise the music track with it perfectly. Obviously this is very important.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. I have already spent quite a lot of time looking at the different packages available but I haven't managed to find out whether they will do what I want them to do.
Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. Charlie Hills' book gives explicit how-to instructions. It is worth its weight in gold. Convert your mp3 sound to wav before putting it in the timeline. A clap before the shoot is great for synching the three tracks.

Hi Devil

that's brilliant - thank you for the post. Just wanted to check as I've been wading through the different applications.

I will check that book out too

Ta!
