I have a copy of Videostudio 10+ but it will not start and always shows me this error message if I try to start it.

Welcome,
To better understand your problem we need more information.
Do you have a FULL or TRIAL version of VS10 installed.
What operating system (Windows XP? Vista?)
What is the EXACT error message displayed and at what point is it displayed (is anything displayed on screen before the error message?)

My problem is the program will not start, I get the initial start up screen which consists of the following
Videostudio Editor

Movie Wizard

DV to DVD Wizard
I then click on any of them and get a small error box with the following

Cannot Initialize Application

Unable to load library
(15122:0:0)
(15034:1:14
At this point the program does not start, this is bizarre because there are 4 logins on my machine one for each of the family and it will start on 2 of them but does not work properly on any. I run Windows XP Home Edtion and have SP2.
What is even more bizarre is I have become frustrated with it so downloaded the new version VID 11 trial and it works perfectly but don't see why I should buy this when there may be a simple solution to my problem.

Not sure if I can assist you with this error, however.
Try uninstalling VS10 using this previous post.
When you re-install ensure that you install from a login username which has administrator rights.
I have also read somewhere about ensuring that the application (VS10) is available to all other users. Something about authorisations I think but I cannot find anything.
Hopefully someone else will read this and reply (vidoman or sjj1805).
Let me know how you get on.

Hi thanks for your reply, I did everthing they said on the previous post but to no avail it is still doing the same thing, very bizarre.
As Vid 11 works I may cut my losses and buy it but still not happy about paying for something that don't work
Never mind
Should anything come to light I would appreciate being told about it my E mail address is on here.
Once again many thanks
