Using VS7... please tell me what your screen looks like

In VS7, under "Share" is the "Export" option supposed to be greyed out ?

I've reinstalled, but still is greyed out. Am I doing something wrong ??

Any comments, feedback etc would be greatly appreciated..

Even with the full UVS version, some items will be grayed out unless you have assets in your current project. However, if you have a version of UVS that came bundled with some piece of hardware, it likely is crippled in some way. For example, only VCD burning may be available, or VCD/SVCD/DVD burning may be completely unavailable.

In order for the 'Export' function to become available you have to click on the thumbnail IN THE LIBRARY PANE - I cannot seem to make it available by any other means - selecting clip or project in the timeline does not seem to work

Here's the answer...
The Export button will not be enabled until one of it's components (DVD Wizard, Export to DV, DVD-VR) is ready for use. You can make those component active in the Export button only if your edited video project has been rendered/encoded into video format where you can apply one of it's components.

For example, the DVD Wizard cannot be used under Export option until your video project is not encoded into VCD or DVD format movie.
Thanks to all those who commented.. :)
