DVD Menu & Chapter
Is it possible to have more control over the menus when creating a DVD from the project. Specifically the main menu takes me to the chapters menu. Can i have several main menu selections that go either to the Chapters, or one or two options for other movies. As with commercial movies you normally have the main menu showing feature, special features, scenes etc. This is what i want to replicate. Also does the 'project settings' i.e. the small cog in the bottom left, shows an "Auto fade out first play to menu" option. Does this mean the introductory clip will only play before the menu appears and not in another part of the main feature movie? As you can see i am trying to get something like a comercial DVD movie style.

To have more control over the DVD Menu creation process you need the more expensive DVD Workshop 2.
With that particular piece of software I have been able to recreate all of the commercial DVD Menus I have seen so far. This includes the ability to create those extra menu pages such as Audio/Subtitle Selection and so on.
Having said that there are now some limitations to DVD Workshop such as
No Widescreen (16.9) mode. It is one of those Corel packages that our forum members are watching with eagerness to see if a service pack or Version 3 will appear but currently hopes are a bit dim.
There are work rounds to the DVD Workshop limitations, many can be found in our DVD Product Tutorials Despite its age this is still my favourite DVD authoring application.
