Can't import AVCHD footage into Video Studio 11+

I've just bought the download of VS11+. I had the well-reported install problem where it would give a fatal error and fail to install, but I followed the advice elsewhere here, modified the installer to skip the AVControlSDK, and it has installed OK.

However, I can't get it to acknowledge the footage I've transferred from my Panasonic HDC SD1. I've used the Panasonic software to copy the files from the camera, but there doesn't appear to be a way to get these files into Video Studio. It has the option of transferring from a DVD, but nothing will look at the transferred files.

I'm half convinced that the download file isn't the plus version (although it's named Plus so it thinks it is). I didn't get three download links as has been discussed elsewhere either - just the one exe.

Any ideas?

And naturally, as soon as I post this question, I find an answer myself.

I missed the 'Import DVD folder' button which does indeed get the files into VS11+.
