I use my downloaded (paid) upgrade to UVS10plus for quite some time.
During the last days, when I am in the middle of editing (quite early) the program closes and I am back on the desktop. This happens in spite of ample room on the disk and with different projects. Booting does not help.
What should I do?
In case the answer is "reload the UVS," I have the problem, how to do that with my downloaded version of UVS, of which I have only the serial number, but no CD.
VideoStudio 10 closes in the middle of editing

If it gets to the question of reinstalling, then lots of people will ask: don't tell me you didn't burn the downloaded upgrade files to CD like all the rest of us did? But of course, I won't ask that...
Instead, I will first ask lots of other things, which contain the information you failed to provide and which we could use to base a sensible reply on. What sort of files were you using? Where did they come from? What were their properties? What editing did you do to them before VS closed? What has changed recently on your computer which might have affected VS? What is your operating system? What are your computer specifications? And that may be just for starters!!!
As it is, it is as if you were phoning a motor mechanic, saying your car used to work but now was conking out -- why? The mechanic cannot see your car, and you simply haven't provided any information on which he can even base a guess...

Since you can't do a reinstall, how about trying a system restore to a point when VS was working correctly.
