I have been trying to contact customer care but after I fill out the form it gives me some random answer- Does anyone have a direct email ?
To Ulead:
My computer crashed and I will need to reinstall Ulead Video 11. I purchased the software through you on the internet and believe to have also purchased the extended download. I do not have an order number or any emails from you - it was all erased. I am showing up in "My Account, but there is no purchase history there. I purchased it last month. Let me know how I can access another install.
Thank you
J. Itson

There is no point in the 'message to Ulead' being posted here. This Board is staffed by volunteers who have no link to Ulead. People from Corel/Ulead rarely visit the Board. Indeed, technical support from Ulead (now Corel) is one of the weaknesses of the package. I am afraid you will have to try contacting them directly again. Do you recall whether you bought from Element5 (who handled the billing for Ulead up to a few weeks ago) or Corel (which has taken over Ulead and now uses its own internal billing system)?
Does the information in My Account at least give a serial number or licence key?
I realise there is no point in saying 'I told you so', but if you do in fact manage to sort this all out, hopefully next time you will not feel you need to erase the links and serial number you are sent, but will store them somewhere safe. And in addition, when you make your downloads, it would be a good practice to immediately burn the downloaded files to CD, again for safe storage and to avoid this exact situation arising in the future...

No Link? Look at the top of the page where Ulead Support is mentioned, or the URL. FYI-I arrived at this message board through Ulead's website. Anyway, Thanks, I found a number to call :There is no point in the 'message to Ulead' being posted here. This Board is staffed by volunteers who have no link to Ulead.

If you read what I said carefully, I said that none of the people who staff this Board have any link (as far as I am aware) to Corel or Ulead. Of course the Board itself is linked to Ulead/Corel, and of course there is a link to it on the Ulead website. But that does *not* mean that Core/Ulead employees visit the Board, or if they do, we are usually not aware of it...
Anyway, glad that you found a direct number to call. And good luck getting the links again... As I said, hope you have a serial number ready to hand...

Like Ken stated, it is staffed by volunteers. On rare occasions a rep from Corel (formerly Ulead) will make an appearance.InterVideo-Ulead User to User Web Board

FYI you can arrive here from numerous other websites, one being Corel's.
