There are a number of members on the forum who try and help troubleshoot problems - myself included. In the early days of the user forum it was not too difficult to be able to read all of the posts submitted since the last time I (or one of the other troubleshooters) had logged on.
On the Forum Home page at the top right is a link
[view posts since last visit] In the forums early days this would perhaps range between 10-30 posts. Today however the board has grown in popularity and more products are now catered for including the former Intervideo products before the merger with Ulead.
There have been days when I have logged on to find over 70 new posts since my last visit. It is of course impossible to read each and every one of them and so it is necessary to look at the titles to pick out posts where I feel I am able to offer some worthwhile input.
if you are viewing perhaps the VideoStudio forum and a post is entitled
"VideoStudio" - it doesn't really give you a clue, similarly in the PhotoImpact forum a post entitled [PhotoImpact] is equally as meaningless.
Giving a post a suitable title is a means of helping us to help you.

I am sorry, but I do not understand this statement. There is no such format. DVD format, yes. But if you burned it to a CD, then almost no players will play it.i selected dvd/cd/ format to make movie
You need to give us more information. From your private message to me, we at least know you are using mpeg-2 from a hard disk video camera:
But you need to tell us exactly how you made the movie, and what format it is in. Right click on the movie within Video Studio and copy down all its properties here please.i have video studio 11 for editing movies recorded from SONY handycam
SR60 HDD(hard disc) ,the format is MPG(mpeg-2)
but the problem is i have a movie of 2-3 hours thats means i have about 200-300 clips all together
but when i edit and make a movie it does not play in mediaplayer 11
or anyother player but it plays when inside video studio 11.
plzz help me what i can do
You also need to be aware that if you are producing a movie which is well over 2 hours long, it would -- to be burned to a normal, single layer DVD -- have to have its bitrate, and thus quality, dropped to a very low level in order to fit.

The OP is persistent and has sent me yet another email, despite my having advised him of Forum policy on this. His new msg is:
You cannot compare a commercial DVD, which can often fit 3 hours of video material on it, to a home burned one. Commercial DVDs are not burned, but pressed directly to the disc, and they use very expensive rendering programs that can render the video after as many as 20 passes to maximise quality. Unfortunately, you cannot do that with a consumer level product like Video Studio.
Your option would seem to me to be to divide your project into two parts of around 90 minutes each, and burn them to 2 DVDs. That way you would get 2 good quality DVDs.
I have already answered your query in my earlier post, when I said:hello sir

when i make a movie in mpeg format its very big size cannot fit in one dvd so whta can be done as wmv degrades the quality heavly
plz suggest me what shall i do i want to play movie in any dvd/cd players
A 2 hour video will require a bitrate of around 4000 kbps, and this will only provide average quality in your final DVD. Squeezing a further hour of video onto the disc (i.e. 3 hours) is possible, but the bitrate required would be below 3000 kbps and probably closer to 2000 kbps, and thus likely to give poor quality. You also need to be aware that if you are producing a movie which is well over 2 hours long, it would -- to be burned to a normal, single layer DVD -- have to have its bitrate, and thus quality, dropped to a very low level in order to fit.

See the Tutorials section for more on titles and credits. This one will get you started.
See this video tutorial for adding titles. It's for v9, but the process is the same for v11.
We are sorry that the writers of the manual didn't read your mind and print step-by-step directions for your personal use.
At some point in the video editing process a very important step is required - IMAGINATION. You have been given the tools (this forum and the manual) to create your titles/credits, now it's up to you and your imagination to do the rest.
