That's a very weird problem.
I do not see a compatibility checkbox in any of the options.
The files and data-structure for a standard video-DVD would be the same for a PC, a MAC, and a stand-alone player. (You should have a VIDEO_TS folder with .VOB files in it, etc.)
However, some players have trouble with some physical/blank formats.
Some DVD players can't play "burned" DVDs at all. Some players can play DVD-R, but not DVD+R or vice-versa. Some players can't play R/W or dual-layer-burned discs, etc. (Your odds are generally best with DVD-R.)
Can the MACs "see" the folders and files on the DVD? Try copying the folders to a temp folder to confirm the MAC can actually read the files.
Can these MACs play commercial DVD? Can they play burned DVDs at all? If they are newer computers, I would expect them to play
anything!
P.S.
You might be able to load the DVD into a PC and play it on the MAC by accessing the PC's DVD drive over your network. Or, you might be able to copy the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders to the MAC's hard drive, over the network, and play if from the hard drive.
