VideoStudio 11 - Won't save edited clips

Post by mr_rem »

I've imported an AVI clip.

Trimmed it using 'Multi Trim video'.

Clicked on 'Clip', then 'Save Trimmed Video'.

and then it tells me 'Unable to access the audio codec driver'

Please can somebody help me either find where this codec should be or another way round saving.

It's really starting to annoy me!!

Thanks

Do you have the trial version of v11, or the paid version?

Where/how did you "import" the avi clip?

What type of avi clip is it (right click on the clip) and what is the audio type?

I have the full/paid version.

Imported it by clicking on the 'load video' button and then chose it from its location.

Dont get what you mean by what AVi type is it?

Audio type is MPEG-Layer 3

But where did the clip come from? Camcorder, Internet, etc.?

AVI is just a "wrapper". It could be DV-AVI, DivX, etc. Right click on a clip and choose Properties. Post those properties here.

It's a downloaded film clip.

It wont let me copy and paste all of it but i think this is what you mean,

It says - Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V3.
