Movie Wizard Templates

Post by jdowney »

Hi,

I am an original VS 9 user, and love the product. I now have VS11 and VS 9 installed on my Vista machine.

Everything installed and works fine with VS11. The problem is I only have 1 movie template for the video and 1 for the slide show. I have used Windows explorer to examine both CD's, and have only found a template directory with a simple 4K file inside...

I went back to the retailer, and he told me that you have to purchase "Movie Wizard Templates" as an extra for version 11; although, the templates were present in VS9...

Is that true? If true where do you buy them? I have looked online and (found nothing), and the retailer only has VS11 for sale... Can I copy/use the VS9 templates in VS11?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you.

Could it be that only the Plus version comes with more than 1 template?

Can you clarify which you have, v11 or v11 Plus (+)

Hi

I have VS11 Plus. I have checked a few of the other posts on this site, and there is a really good one called VideoStudio 11+ Preview by sjj1805.

I have most of the items illustrated by sjj1805. However, I am missing the Movie Templates and Smart Scene Menus, Text Menus, and some othe menu that I can't read the title of.

Furthermore, on CD2 under Video, I have all of the same files as listed by sjj1805, BUT I can not read or load the files under the subdirectory Introduction Video or Sample Video - could this be a codec issue? (they are .avi files, and my Dell XPS computer reads other .avi files)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled VS11 a few times, but always end up with the same results. VS11 works fine, but I am missing the above menus/templates...

Those extra video files on CD2 do not install you can however import them using the Library Manager.

Hi,

I have tried to import the video files, and I have successfully imported the 3D-Video files. However, I have not been able to import, read or load the files under the subdirectory Introduction Video or Sample Video - this is why I thought it could be a codec issue?

In any event I still also have the missing menu issues as well. Has anyone experienced this problem before?
