Changes to Audio Levels still not effective on finished DVD

I've been unsuccessful in getting VideoStudio 7 to write the Audio level changes and Fade in/out changes to DVD. I have made some changes to the audio levels of the original soundtrack and the music track, and lengthened the fade in/out time. These are okay in the preview of the finished project, but the DVD burned from this still has the original settings. I have installed the VideoStudio 7.1 patch, but no changes. Does anyone else have this problem?

Do the audio level changes and fades make it into an MPEG file if you render to a video file first? You could use that MPEG file as the input file for the DVD (which is also the recommended procedure).

I've just finished writing a new DVD using the method you suggested, and it works great! Thanks for your help.
