enable the dotted marquee in PI10

Hi guys,

I was working in PI10 the other day and out of nowhere the dotted marquee that appears around selected objects stopped popping up... any ideas?

I looked around the preferences for something that might jump out at me, but nothing stuck out. I'm not too sure what the Ulead ppl refer to that marquee as, so I'm not completely sure what I'm looking for...

Use the View/Show Marquee menu (or Shift-F12) to enable/disable the dotted marquee around selected objects.
