I made a movie in VS 11 and now need to export back to my Sony HDR-SR7. I tried all different types but when i open Picture Motion Browser and try to export back to camera it tells me it can't export. Is this the limitation of using VS 11 and trying to export AVCHD files?

I didn't realize it was possible to export back to that camcorder.
As far as I can tell VS11+ does not create the h264 files, it takes them from the camcorders disk structure, if your trying to use the export feature in VS11+ that feature is for hd-mpeg2 video to be written to tape based hd-camcorders.
I don't know how the software that came with your camcorder works.
Maybe you could explain the features of that software, it may be able to perform the H264 conversion to put the videos back to the camcorder.
