Just letting you know that if you want to add something to a previous post you entered you cane select your post and then hit the EDIT button and change it rather than create another post which is a bit of a waste.
I cannot suggest anything regarding you initial post except to re-render the shorter clips together and then import them into a project where they will be long enough for a normal transition.
