A few days ago, H. T. Chien told me how to cut out the audio from a DVD or SVCD using MF4 and replace it with my own audio. Is there a way, using MF4, to use the existing audio up to a certain point in the video and then mute it and put my own audio in? I have a song I'd like to end with the video. The song is 3 minutes and 32 seconds long; the SVCD is about 4 minutes and 30 seconds. I'd like to stay with the original audio up to approximately the one-minute mark; then put play the song. Is that do-able?

Hi lefty, I think you can do it in DVDMF 4 Disc Creator by several steps below.
First, select any Create Music Disc task in DVDMF4, it will invoke the Burn. Now 2.0 module.
Select Tool->Convert Audio Files and add the video file (yes, add the video file) which has the original audio you want. Switch the output file format, and then click on Options to set the output quality and click on Convert will extract the audio part of the video file to a separate audio file.
Then close Burn. Now and back to DVDMF4 Create Video Disc module.
Select Enhance Video in the ADD/EDIT MEDIA step.
Select the Audio tab.
Click on Set the original volume to mute.
Click on Add Audio and add the separated audio file.
Click on Set Audio Properties to trim the audio file to 1 minute.
Click on Add Audio to add the 3.32 minute song, you will see it to be appeared as the second song in the list.
Then you can click on the play button to preview the result.
Click on OK to confirm the editing.
Hope this helps.
