I cant seem to find anywhere on the forums on how to do a clean un-install of the trial. It wont start and the installation files must be corrupted. I keep doing the un-install in my control panel add/remove blah blah, but it doesnt seem to help. I cant get the program to start.
Thank you.
Please tell me how to do a clean uninstall of VideoStudio 11

Hi
Try here
http://www.explorecommerce.com/members/ ... goryid=456
Look at Installation¡XClean Re-install
I realise these are for VS 10 but the folders will be similar and in the same locations as for 11
First make sure you do this ("Tools > Folder Options > View" to check "show hidden files and folders".)

Thank you. I followed the step by step directions on how to un-install. Then I did a clean install and NADA! I still cant get the program to even start. I'm afraid to even buy it and download it now for fear it wont work on my computer. I had it working the first time I used it, but got a error message when I tried loading some Video_TS files. It closed the program. So I started it again and got the same Windows Error message and then the program wouldnt start at all. It sill wont. No matter what I do or try. *sigh*

Hi
If the files are corrupt, they may cause VS to crash, as you have found.
VS may be still trying to load these files. Re-installing VS should have cured this.
Try renaming these TS files, or move them to another location on your pc.
Start VS.
Please fill in your forum ¡¥Profile¡¦ to include your pc spec¡¦
This will show under the System icon at the bottom of the posts.

The knowledge base clean re-install for VS11 is here:
http://support.corel.com/scripts/rightn ... MQ**&p_li=
There does appear to be a problem with the other link to the knowledge base.
